A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE THINGS – SPRING 2021

Hello my stylish friends. The team here at Arlington Home Interiors would like to spread our “Spring Fever” by sharing a few things we are currently loving. From decorative goodies to cute clothing to men in kilts, we hope you’ll find something to brighten your spring even more.

1. Cabo Woven Pendant by Crate & Barrel: Add a laid back, tropical vibe to your space with this stylish (and affordable!) fixture from Crate & Barrel. I love the chunky yet loose rope weave. Casually gorgeous.

2. The Dutch House by Ann Patchett: Both Suzanne and Elise listed this as their favorite recent read–so there you go! Get ready to be obsessed. But before you jump over to Amazon to order it, please consider buying it from an independent bookstore like Arlington’s very own: One More Page Books.

3. The Classic Tote by Portland Leather Goods: I LOVE this bag! I take it to all my client appointments. It’s super strong, looks great and holds everything! Smells good, too.

4. Francoise Maxi Dress by Anthropologie: Such a cute retro-y dress! It's soft and airy and perfect for late spring/early summer evenings. Get your 70s groove on!

5. Decorative Pillow by Sparkmodern: Pssst….Here’s a one of our designing secrets: Etsy has AMAZING decorative pillows. We love this turquoise, boho floral print by Sparkmodern. And remember, with pillows go big! We recommended 20” or larger.

6. Men in Kilts - Season 1 on Starz: Hunky, stylish Scottish men traveling in an RV across Scotland. Not sure what else needs to be said. Make up whatever excuse you need to but watch it tonight. (My mom and I watch this together! Guilty pleasure.)

7. Simply Spaced: Clear the Clutter and Style Your Life by Monica Leed: Here’s your step-by-step guide for clearing clutter and styling your home. This book breaks it down room-by-room. (Hey! You could add it to your online shopping cart from One More Page Books! )

8. Indian Floral graphic leather belt by Jon Wye: Here’s one for the guys. This is Mark’s favorite belt right now (maybe ever). It’s hand-made by a DC maker we’ve been following for years. Remember - Father’s Day is just around the corner. You could give your guy a little flair!

9. Solo in Rio 1959 by Luiz Bonfa: Warm nights and tasty cocktails need a soothing soundtrack to complete the mood. Here’s one of Mark’s top picks–Brazilian guitar legend, Luiz Bonfa.  Available for streaming on Spotify.
