COMFORT & JOY FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR

Greetings dear friends,

When it comes to reflecting on 2020, where do you start? This year upended everyone’s life in one way or another. It both isolated us and–in some ways–brought us together. I want to focus on the latter by celebrating the bright spots of this year. And I want to start with being grateful that everyone in the Arlington Home Interiors family continues to be safe and healthy. We hope you and your loved ones are as well.

Here are some things to celebrate:

Suzanne, Mark & family:

The Manloves have spent a lot of time together under one roof and we all still get along!  We’ve had lots of family game nights, art projects and have watched just about everything on Netflix. Our two beautiful young adults, Sean (20) and Natalie (17), have been weathering the challenges of online learning on both the college and high school level. Mark renewed his love of tennis this year and had a weekly “tennis date” with friends. I finally got a stand-up paddleboard and enjoyed “supping” various local waterways (even venturing out into the deep, dark ocean!). And we’ve been trying hard to stay connected with loved ones via Zoom (who the heck heard of Zoom last year?) and through evenings by the fire pit with friends.

From a work perspective, it’s thankfully been a busy year. Mark and I are proud to have hit a couple of our business goals including designing interiors for a beautiful beach house and expanding our team. And speaking of our team...

The AHI family:

We’ve had several additions to the Arlington Home Interiors’ family/team, including THREE babies earlier this year! Flavia and family welcomed twin girls (Madelyn and Isabelle) and Melanie and her family welcomed their first baby boy (Maurice). Everyone is healthy and they’re keeping our mamas busy.

Other new team members included Elisa, our interim designer, who was an incredible help during all that maternity leave (we miss you!). And recently, Grace and Elise have joined AHI–as our design assistant and order expeditor, respectively– and will help keep our momentum rolling into 2021.

Over the course of the year, several previous clients reached out to simply let us know how much their new spaces have improved their quality of life (and happiness) during this stay-at-home year. We love to hear from you! It’s an honor to be invited into your family’s home and to help you make a meaningful difference in your lives.

It’s been a challenging year but I sincerely believe that brighter days are ahead. From our family to yours, we wish you a wonderful holiday season filled with love and peace.

All the best,

Suzanne
